Ricardo Ching of Jamaica has claimed a $1,000,000 Powerball second prize for matching the first five numbers drawn on March 13.
The winning numbers were: 21 29 54 59 62 Powerball 04.
Ching received a one-time lump sum payment totaling $612,240, after required withholdings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Avadh Convenience located at 3714 Broadway in Astoria.
New York’s Powerball game generated $516,866,283 in total sales during fiscal year 2022-2023. School districts across the five boroughs received $1,070,470,430 in Lottery Aid to Education funds during the same period.
